Alparslan Kutukcuoglu appointed Chairman of eBikeGo Board


Alparslan Kutukcuoglu has been appointed Chairman of the Board of eBikeGo. He has a track record of successful operations at various stages ranging from start-up to expansion to turnaround situations.

Alparslan Kutukcuoglu has been appointed Chairman of the Board of eBikeGo, the two-wheeled electric mobility platform. Previously, eBikeGo had him on board as international business manager and member of the supervisory board.

Alparslan has extensive experience in the international automotive sector. He has a track record of successful operations at various stages ranging from start-up to expansion to turnaround situations. He has worked in a global multi-business environment, immediately defining a strategic vision in response to complex and multi-faceted difficulties, and reacting and implementing solutions with determination.

He has a reputation for being able to develop and motivate a talented management team, the company said in a statement. He has considerable experience in mergers and acquisitions, a multicultural background. He specializes in general management, business development (strategy and implementation), international operations in Europe, the United States and Asia.

After earning a master’s degree in mechanical engineering at ETH Zurich, he completed an advanced management program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He started his professional career as GM Engineering Composites at Saurer Engineering Composites. The next step was Myonic Group as CEO, a well-known precision component company for the global medical, automotive and aviation industries, where he led an MBO with a house of Europe’s leading PE and led the band through to full release.

During his shorter tenures as CEO of Interaxia (DVD chemicals), Elcotherm (leading-edge heating and cooling systems), and Epispeed (microprocessor manufacturing processes), he served as Chairman of the supervisory board of Wampfler AG, a leading company in the field of energy products and data transmission. All these missions were carried out in partnership with financial investors.

He then joined Wifag-Polytype Holding as a member of the Executive Committee, where one of his missions was to develop the group’s Indian operations. For about 3 years he mainly lived in India (Mumbai). His last operational assignment was SFC KOENIG as CEO, with a global market and technology leader for metal sealing and flow control products primarily for the automotive industry, formerly a PE backed group, which today does now part of IDEX Corporation, where he led the exit to this publicly traded group. .

Since 2020, Alparslan has been active as a board member and investor of EP-backed companies, namely chairman of the board of Mungo Befestigungstechnik Ag for components for the construction industry and scope and member of the board of directors of Precision Werks Group (PWG), a portfolio of companies in the field of tooling and critical components for the automotive industry.
